Dreadlocks are lovely.
Dreadlocks are nice.
But things do get ugly
when a kid gives you lice.
There's no hope. Vinegar doesn't do shit.
Well, guys... I'm cutting off my dreads.
It's been good catching all the great advice here on Dreadtribe. It all started off so well...
Peace!

Re: A lesson painfully learned...
Mon, February 23, 2009 - 12:43 PMHenna, with a bit of fenugreek or artemisia added will get rid of even stubborn cases of head lice...just pack it on, wrap your head up and let it be for a few hours...then when you wash it out, no more lice and a nice coppery hue to your hair...plus henna bonds to your hair and makes it healthier...which means a healthier set of dreads...
I'd certainly try it before you do away with your dreadies...it can't hurt anything and you might just save your hair... -

Tue, February 24, 2009 - 8:53 AMNEEM SEED OIL added to your shampoo will not only get rid of any lice you already have, but regularly adding a few drops to your shampoo will keep all bugs out!
