Has anyone else checked out the book called "Dreads", with the foreword by Alice Walker?
It shows pictures of people with dreads (and their reasons for having them) from all over the world. Even though it could be about 3x longer, it gives a nice glimpse..

It was published about 9 or 10 years ago, so I suspect this may be wayyy old news to some people.. to everyone else, I hope u enjoy it like I have! :D

I have to read/look at it every couple of months.
I just love the fashion designer from New Zealand and her dreads.
A couple of years ago I emailed one of the authors and asked if after doing the book was he tempted to dread himself. He was very gracious, emailed me back and said no, he really enjoyed working on the book but having dreads wasn't something he wanted.
