Re: FREE DREAD KIT AVAILABLE!
Mon, August 24, 2009 - 7:04 AMI love the rip n pull/twist method, it works the BEST for creating lotsa knots....as for palm rolling, I prefer when dry, although others do it when wet...it's a matter of personal choice I guess. To Palm Roll, you hold the lock between your two palms and roll the lock inbetween the two, like you had a piece of clay and were making a long snake...Just try not to roll so hard that it twists the heck outta your roots. This can cause root breakage, and you'll end-up with short, undreaded, broken hairs like a halo LOL Short hand movements, with a medium pressure. You can leave the bands in for palm-rolling, but I would not recommend leaving them in overall for more than a couple weeks. Once you take them out, use the rip n pull/twist method to dread-up the tips, follow this up with a palm-roll on those tips, to help set them. this method is AWESOME for dreading tips! -
