I did my room mates dreads 3 years ago now, and he recently did mine for me. He did them with what I think are pretty big sections of hair. I just sewed the roots to make them nicer looking (I start a new job soon) but now I'm super self conscious about the big sections on my head compared to the size of my dreads. I started them 4 months ago, and they look fine as long as the roots aren't tight...
Any suggestions other than having that inch or 2 at my scalp not dread?
Every once in a while I think about re-doing them with smaller sections, but I don't really want thin ones.

Fri, July 3, 2009 - 5:16 PMYour dreads will thicken-up over time, and once they're fully mature will be close to the size of your sections in thickness...but David's right, post a pic or two if you can, so we can see what you're talking about...
