Dread's on the playa?
I've never been before and would love some info on the playa dust vs dreads.
Does it wash out completely? Do you have to wrap 24/7 or just in dust storms? etc. etc.
Any info would help:)

Tue, February 17, 2009 - 8:12 PMLast time I was at Burning Man, I had dreads. I think, if anything, the dust acts similarly to the white powder "Loc Peppa" you can buy to help dreads get tighter. Since it's such a fine dust, it probably rinses out quite easily when you finally wash it. I didn't have trouble at all, and wasn't wrapping it up either. But who knows how much of that stuff is still hiding inside the dreads... that will remain a mystery! -
